Pokemon Quest Recipes

The game allows players to build out their own base camp, and lay out bait in order to befriend pokemon. You’ll need to cook in order to attract pokemon, with several different recipes available. You’ll earn ingredients as rewards while out on Expeditions, which can be combined to make different dishes. Each dish attracts a certain type of pokemon, so we’ve gathered together every recipe in Pokemon Quest that we’ve found so far. Each recipe has a descriptor which gives a clue as to the correct ingredients. We’ll explain each recipe in Pokemon Quest, and update with exact examples when we unlock them. Pokemon Quest Recipe Ingredients

There are eight different standard ingredients to use in Pokemon Quest. They can be added to the pot in your base camp in different combinations to make different recipes. You’ll collect ingredients while out on expeditions, they are dropped by defeating pokemon. Here’s every standard ingredient in Pokemon Quest.

  • Tiny Mushroom – Red, “Soft and small”
  • Apricorn – Yellow, “hard and small”
  • Fossil – Grey, “hard and small”
  • Bluk Berry – Blue, “soft and small”
  • Big Root – “soft and precious”
  • Icy Rock – Blue, “hard and precious”
  • Balm Mushroom – Grey, “soft and precious”
  • Honey – Yellow, “soft and precious”

Pokemon Quest Rare Ingredients

There are two types of Rare Ingredient to find in Pokemon Quest. You can pick them up by defeating rare and powerful pokemon found at the end of certain Expeditions. They possess special qualities, and create dishes which attract rare and legendary pokemon. Here are all of Rare Ingredients in Pokemon Quest Explained.

  • Rainbow Matter – Can be used to substitute for any other ingredient
  • Mystical Shells – Used to make Ambrosia of Legends a la Cube and attract rare and legendary pokemon

Pokemon Quest Recipes List

Unlocking recipes in Pokemon Quest is easy, you’ll first need to make them using ingredients you’ve earned while out on Expeditions. Each recipe has a description which gives you an idea as to what you’ll need to put in your cooking pot to attract a certain type of pokemon, the number in brackets next to each ingredient refers to the exact amount you need to put in. It’ll help you work out what every meal does in Pokemon Quest. Here is every Pokemon Quest recipe explained.

  • Mulligan Stew a la Cube – Any ingredients you can find initially. Attracts low-level normal type pokemon like Rattata and Pidgey
  • Yellow Curry a la Cube – Made of apricorn (4) and whatever else you can find. attracts yellow pokemon like Bellsprout.
  • Red Stew a la Cube – Use mostly red ingredients like Tiny Mushrooms (5), attracts Red Pokemon like Charmander.
  • Blue Soda a la Cube – Use Mostly Blue Ingredients like Bluk Berries (5), attracts Blue Pokemon like Nidoran.
  • Grey Porridge a la Cube – Cook with Grey ingredients like Fossils (4), attracts Grey Pokemon like Machop.
  • Mud Pie a la Cube – Use Fossils (2) mixed with other ingredients, attracts Ground Pokemon like Diglett
  • Ambrosia of Legends a la Cube – Made up of “A whole lot of mystical things”, basically Rainbow Shells and matter, attracts Rare pokemon.
  • Get Swole Syrup a la Cube – Made up of sweet things like honey (1) and berries (2) and a Tiny Mushroom (1), attracts Fighting Pokemon like Mankey.
  • Watt a Risotta a la Cube – Soft and yellow things, essentially just apricorn (1) and honey (2) and Tiny Mushroom (2) mixed together. Attracts Electric Pokemon like Voltorb.
  • Hot Pot a la Cube – Mix mushrooms (3) and berries (2), attracts Fire Pokemon like Magmar.
  • Light-as-Air Casserole a la Cube – Mix Fossils (2) and Roots(2) and an Icy Stone, attracts Flying Pokemon like Spearow.
  • Stone Soup a la Cube – Mix up Fossils (3) and Apricorns (2), attracts Rock pokemon like Geodude.
  • Brain Food a la Cube – Add Bluk Berries (3) and Apricorns (2), attracts Psychic Pokemon like Abra.
  • Sludge Soup a la Cube – Add Tiny Mushrooms (3) and Balm Mushrooms (2), attracts Poison Pokemon like Grimer.
  • Veggie Smoothie a la Cube – Use Big Roots (3), Apricorns(1) and Balm Mushrooms (1), attracts Grass Pokemon like Bulbasaur.
  • Plain Crepe a la Cube – Add Bluk Berries(3) and Fossils(2), attracts Normal Type Pokemon like Jigglypuff.
  • Mouth-Watering Dip a la Cube – Bluk Berries (3) and Tiny Mushrooms (2), attracts Water Pokemon like Magikarp.

A good tip to keep in mind when figuring out how much of each ingredients to use is to not the wording of the description. Each description uses the terms “A whole lot”, “A lot”, “A few”, and “A little” to give clues on ingredient amounts in Pokemon Quest. Here’s what each one means:

  • A whole lot = 4 cooking slots
  • A lot = 3 cooking slots
  • A few = 2 cooking slots
  • A little = 1 cooking slot

How to Make Ambrosia of Legends a la Cube and Attract Rare and Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Quest

If you’re looking to get Mewtwo, Legendary birds and other rare pokemon, you’ll have to cook up some Ambrosia of Legends a la Cube. For that, you’ll need Rainbow Shells which are collected as random drops while playing the game. Four Shells is enough to make the dish, and you can add in any other ingredient into the other slots. Rainbow Shells are different to Rainbow Matter, which is used to replace other ingredients in recipes. Once it’s cooked you’ll attract rare pokemon to your base camp.

Pokemon Quest Cooking Pots

As you progress through more and more expeditions in Pokemon Quest, you’ll require higher levels of pokemon in order to beat each one. Attracting high level pokemon in Pokemon Quest is very similar to attracting other pokemon. You’ll need to upgrade your cooking pot in order to lure the best pokemon in, with three upgrades available in total. You can get new, better Cooking Pots by buying each of the Expedition Cosmetic Packs located in the store. Here are all of the cooking pot upgrades in Pokemon Quest:

  • Default Pot – Slots Require 3 of each ingredient.
  • Bronze Pot – Slots Require 10 of each ingredient.
  • Silver Pot – Slots Require 15 of each ingredient.
  • Gold Pot – Slots Require 20 of each ingredient.

Each subsequent Cooking Pot Upgrade in Pokemon Quest requires more and more ingredients in each slot. This will allow you to attract the best pokemon in Pokemon Quest.
