ROGERS, Ark. (KNWA) – Mercy Northwest Arkansas is promoting a healthy lifestyle at the Walmart Northwest Arkansas Championship.
The health center has a set up the Golf Zone at HUB 479 near hole 17. You can test your golf skills at a longest putt station, practice your swing, and learn tips on leading a healthy lifestyle. The Golf Zone will be open on Saturday and Sunday during the tournament and is free to everyone.
"We always want folks to be active and just get out there and move and so the tournament provides a great venue for that and we just believe in being a part of it," said Martine Pollard, Executive Director of Communications for Mercy NWA.
Mercy is also a part of the 5K at the LPGA race taking place on Saturday morning around the Pinnacle Country Club golf course. Registration is closed. Packet pick-up is Saturday morning before the race at John Q Hammons.
