Still looking to sneak in a vacation while the weather is nice? As summer comes to a close, flight prices are dropping.
The travel website "hopper" released a summer travel study.. showing flight prices have dropped as much as 47 percent. While most of the destinations are abroad with flights from major hub cities, those discounts still trickle down to North Dakota. We sat down with a local travel agency about what causes the price decrease.
Jennifer Leingang: Direct Travel: "The airlines aren't as busy. Once school starts, it kind of dies down for family travel so the airlines need to cut costs at that point so the prices decrease."
