Starbucks is paying tribute to Whitney Houston in a unique way that coffee lovers across the nation can experience.
In honor of the what would have been Houston’s 55th birthday, the coffee giant is playing Houston’s songs all day long on Thursday. Yes, you heard correctly. All. Day. Long.
More than 8,000 Starbucks locations have a 55-song playlist of Houston’s songs on repeat, according to the singer’s official Instagram account, which is run by her estate.
The playlist, which features such hits as “I Have Nothing,” “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” and “I Will Always Love You,” was assembled by Houston’s former music director, Rickey Minor.

For those who stopped by a Starbucks outlet, the tunes did not disappoint. Houston’s powerhouse vocals have coffee lovers wired, in a good way:
