Que Bueno Taco Fest isn’t going to let a little rain get in the way of their efforts to Restore The Ritz.
Or even a few potentially soggy tacos.
Recent weather updates predict isolated thunderstorms to take place during the first ¡Que Bueno! Taco Fest on Saturday.
Despite the expected rain, the ¡Que Bueno! Taco Fest committee voted this morning to keep the festival up and running. And in an unprecedented move, they have also decided to make the festival free for all attendees.
Patrons who have already paid for admission will be 100 percent refunded.
CCPATCH, the non-profit organization hosting the festival to complete phase one of restoring the Historic Ritz Theatre in downtown Corpus Christi, assures festival goers that the festival is still on “rain or shine,” and that most of the festival was already indoors or underneath a covered area.
