Seven bands will rock the Slate Belt this fall.
Money raised will benefit the township’s Community Park on Potomac Street.
“It’s a great way for Upper Mount Bethel to bring people into the township and to bring people together,” Township Supervisors Chairman John Bermingham said.
Seven bands are scheduled for the festival, which will feature headliner Outside the Wall–a Pink Floyd tribute band.
The other bands are Bad Company Experience, Contraband, Dimension3, Bad Influence, Johnny & The Bootlegs and Curious Dog.
Along with music, the festival will have food for sale from Communale’s Italian Market, Yumm-o-licious Food Truck and others.
Wine and beer will be available from M&M Vineyards, Tolino Vineyards and Abomination Brewing Co.
Tickets purchased in advance on mtbethelmusicfestival.com cost $15. $20 tickets can be bought at the door. Seniors and children 12 years old and younger will pay $10.
$35 will buy you a Silver V.I.P. pass that comes with preferred seating, a buffet, a complimentary drink, a tee shirt and a meet-and-greet with Outside the Wall. The $100 Gold V.I.P. pass comes with the same advantages as the Silver pass plus access to Chelsea Sun Inn’s outdoor fireplace and hot tub.
Organizers hope to raise money for a variety of proposed projects at the park.
Plans include a pavilion with a kitchen, which will eventually be available to rent for weddings and other events. Other plans include basketball, volleyball and badminton courts and enhanced walking trails.
If the festival sells all of the 600 available tickets, it would raise $27,000 for the park, according to Township Manager Rick Fisher.
