The last decade has given them a latke love!

Celebrate the first night of Hanukkah by biting down on some unique twists on the holiday’s staple food — the potato pancake — at the 10th annual Latke Fest at the Brooklyn Museum on Dec. 3. Foodies flock from all over the city, and even from far away, to indulge in potatoes fried in oil, said the festival’s founder.

“I think it gets bigger every year, we don’t try to make it crazy big,” said Liz Neumark, who started the fund-raising event in the kitchen of her catering company Great Performances. “At the heart of it are a couple of hundred people who put it on their calendar year after year.”

This year’s festival will feature more than 25 different restaurants serving up delicious latkes, many created with flavors and toppings that vary wildly from the classic apple sauce and sour cream — which makes it hard to choose a favorite, said Neumark.

“We have some new participants that we’re really excited about,” she said.

Those newcomers include restaurants from across the five boroughs, including Acme, which will also be serving its smoked fish; Mama O’s, known for its famous kimchi; and Jacob’s Pickles, serving latkes alongside longtime Brooklyn participants, such as Park Slope’s Eastern European restaurant Korzo and the steakhouse Benchmark.

And there are still seven more days of the Festival of Lights after Latke Fest, in case it whets your appetite for the potato treats, said Neumark.

“People won’t be latke-d out, it’s the perfect launch,” she said.
