The Men in Black reboot has been given its new official title.
And it is called – wait for it – Men in Black International!
Sounds global – which would make sense as they have been filming outside of the usual US location hotspots and graced the likes of London, Morroco and Italy. Of course, the couldn’t do without filming in New York City.
The movie a lot of MIB fans have been waiting for is being directed by F. Gary Gray has been referred to as the Men in Black reboot or the Men in Black spin-off, but the film has now been giving a title ahead of its release in June 2019.
The good news was revealed on the movie’s official Facebook page and comes almost two decades after the franchise was initially launched by Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones in 1997, and was followed by two subsequent movies, in 2002 and 2012.
But this movie has been given a huge makeover with Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson taking on the roles of the two lead characters.
Other names set to appear when it hits big screens include Kumail Najiani, Rafe Spall, Liam Neeson, and Rebecca Ferguson, as well as the returning Emma Thompson, who also starred in Men in Black 3.
Chris recently revealed he’d wrapped his scenes, taking to Instagram to share the exciting news.

‘Can’t wait to show what we’ve put together. see you all soon,’ he concluded, adding the hashtag #MIB and including the handle for his co-star Tessa.
Here come the men (and women) in black…
