GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)– For two years in a row, crafts of all kind have been sold over at the District 51 Career Center.
More than 40 vendors sat up shop Saturday, selling pots and pans, candles, clothes and more. But these vendors are doing more than selling their craft, they’re teaching the next generation.
“We are a career center. We’re career technical education school, this building teaches the basic skill sets that all these vendors are demonstrating,” said Cam Wyatt, principle/Santa’s helper.
They’re teaching things like marketing, learning your product and customer relations.
Vendor fees help to go support the career center programs.
