From 2 to 4 p.m. today at the main library, take part in Hygge at the Library, featuring crafts, snacks, cozy reads and meditation classes. Hygge is Danish for a moment of coziness and comfort.

At 2 p.m. Wednesday at the main library, learn how to create slides using Microsoft PowerPoint. The program is part of the new Getting Started with Tech workshop series. Sign up online (champaign.org/events) or call 217-403-2070.

At 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Douglass Branch, create your own snowman-building game at DIY Kids.

Urbana Free Library

At 1:30 p.m. today in Megan’s Reading Room on the ground floor, families are invited to Slavic Story Time, featuring the book “Uncle Vova’s Tree” by Patricia Polacco, traditional songs and a fir tree craft. This program is co-sponsored by the Russian, East European and Eurasian Center at the University of Illinois and The Urbana Free Library.

At 2 p.m. today in the Busey-Mills Reading Room, listen to an all-ages UFLive! concert featuring Carl Johnson and the New Orleans Jazz Machine.

Stop by the question desk (ground floor) or the reference desk (second floor) to pick up a Winter Reading Program log. The program runs from Monday through Feb. 28. Read for prizes.

Danville Public Library

At 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the children’s program room, a tween 3-D printer class will be held for youths 8 to 11. Registration is required; the class is limited to five participants.

At 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the first-floor meeting room, youths 12 to 18 can celebrate the start of break at a Winter Party, featuring games, music and refreshments.
