Travel problems developing Saturday – WTRF






Periods of light snow will move into our area Saturday morning. The slippery roads will start in Guernsey, Noble and Washington counties in Ohio. As we move through the morning hours, accumulating snow will spread across the roadways. Travel could become hazardous as we approach the evening hours. 

Communities along and south of Interstate-70 can expect the most snowfall. Two to fours inches of snow are likely south of Wheeling and Cambridge. One to two inches of snow north of Wheeling and Cambridge. Heaviest snowfall should occur late Saturday afternoon into the evening hours.

Low pressure in the Tennessee Valley will redevelop along the North Carolina coast late this weekend. Ohio pressure returns to the Ohio Valley on Monday.
