Interested in getting involved in promoting the importance of a smoke-free lifestyle?
Pop in to the 29th annual Solano County Tobacco Education Coalition (TEC) luncheon, set for noon-2 p.m. Tuesday, Conference Room 1, Solano County Health and Social Services Department, 275 Beck Ave., Fairfield.
Come check TEC out — volunteers are sought to advocate for smoke-free environments, preventing underage vaping/smoking and reducing tobacco use.
Also on the agenda are presentations of the new Alvina Sheeley Memorial Youth Advocate award and the annual Les Ross Memorial Volunteer of the Year.
New co-chairs will take office as 2019 plans are announced and updates will be given on items including ongoing work on projects including preventing Adverse Childhood Experiences.
