At the beginning of 2018, Jamie Swenson set off on a personal mission to make sure every woman felt her very best. From hair coloring to brow lifting and facials, every woman who entered her new salon was going to walk out feeling like a 10.
Now, just one year after opening Unbridled, A Hair Salon, Swenson is moving full speed ahead.
“It feels like yesterday that I just opened,” Swenson said. “It’s been the best year of my life. Everything from cutting the pink ribbon in the beginning, to hiring new interns and stylists has been wonderful.”
Unbridled, A Hair Salon, located at 4513 Chumuckla Parkway in Pace, has also hired two new estheticians to expand its skincare services.
“We now offer brow microblading, Halo Couture, UTip Hair Extensions and dermaplaning,” Swenson said. “Dermaplaning involves gently exfoliating the top layer of skin with a blade in order to help the skin glow.”

For Swenson, these new services further perpetuate her mission to empower women of all ages.
“We ended the year with our ‘She Deserves It’ campaign,” Swenson said. “And we will continue it into the new year. This campaign is all about making sure that women of all ages, from my 8-year-old daughter in the third grade to my 83-year-old grandmother, feels empowered.”
Swenson’s “She Deserves It” campaign gave the charge to the community of nominating a woman in their life who puts others first. The lucky winner got a makeover worth up to $250 in skincare, makeup, hair services and products.
“It’s all about making women feel great about themselves,” Swenson said.
